Features
- Although correct placement plays a key role in optimizing subwoofer performance, sometimes it imposes the inconvenience (not to mention unsightliness!) of running long lengths of cable through walls
- The Dynamo 700 incorporates a wireless receiver (digital RF transmission) for use with the optional SWT-1 MartinLogan Subwoofer Wireless
- Transmitter (sold separately, see dealer) in which case, cable clutter also becomes a moot point!
- Maximum range of 30-40 feet.
- One SWT-1 transmitter is required per subwoofer.

Product Description
Subwoofer wireless transmitter designed specifically for use with the MartinLogan Dynamo 700 and Dynamo 1000 subwoofers. Following extensive research and testing, MartinLogan engineers designed the SWT-1 with an uncompressed 16-bit/48-kHz sampling rate (exceeding the current CD standard of 16-bit/44.1-kHz), which proved more than adequate (and accurate!) for use in the wireless transmission of low-frequency information below 200 Hz. And since the RF transmission is digital it is error-checked to ensure no deviation from the original signal. The ML SWT-1 operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency range. Often, users of wireless technology complain about interference from other noise sources in the room (i.e. wireless local area networks, portable phones on the same frequency, even microwave ovens). MartinLogan engineers included an integrated RF power amplifier that provides a 15 dBm RF power level to reduce interference.
