This 10-Inch driver utilizes an oversized motor structure for high power handling and greater reliability during heavy hitting bass passages. The premium grade 4-layer cone delicately balances the mix between wool and paper pulp resulting in very natural smooth bass reproduction, even under the stress of high sound pressure levels. Powerbass S-series woofers are constructed using thick stamped steel baskets finished in flat black with built-in perimeter Aero-venting allowing cooler air to run over the coil assembly. Add to this a 2-Inch hand wound BASV resin coated voice coil and you have the optimum combination resulting in power handling, performance and cooling, and cool woofers mean better bass!
