The Lava SUB-10 is a front-firing, front-ported powerhouse featuring an 8 inch cellulose composite woofer. We don't use cheap paper cardboard woofers. This is the real deal and part of why Lava subwoofers outperform the competition.
The Lava SUB-10 is powered by a 100 watt internal amplifier that provides home theater and stereo bass you can feel.
Lava SUB-10 powered subwoofer extends the low frequency response of the system below 40Hz, with a low pass frequency response in the range of 37-150 Hz (+/-3 dB) and a 60 - 180 Hz continuously variable low pass crossover. In a surround sound system the SUB-10 provides stunning reproduction of the LFE (low frequency effects) channel in the range of 20-380 Hz (+/-3dB). The SUB-10 is also incredibly sensitive testing a 130mV at 100W.
The SUB-10 provides both line level RCA, speaker level inputs and comes in a black, lightly textured cabinet. The cabinets look as great as they sound. Enclosures are constructed of high-quality MDF material and a seamless black PVC finish that minimizes resonance and looks great. The SUB-10 comes with an MDF grill frame covered with black speaker cloth.
